Overview
Vayita is a portable, worker-owned proof-of-contribution trust graph. We are built on the principle that contributors own their data, their evidence, and their credentials. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.
Data We Collect
We collect account information (email, identity verification data), witnessed work artifacts and evidence, credential issuance and verification records, and usage analytics. We do not sell personal data — ever.
Contributor Ownership
All credentials and evidence are owned by the contributor. Vayita acts as the infrastructure provider — not the owner. You can export, share, or delete your data at any time. Your passport is self-sovereign.
Evidence & Privacy
Evidence is stored as content-addressed references. Third parties verify credentials through zero-knowledge proofs without accessing your underlying work product. You control who sees what, for how long, and at what level of detail.
Data Retention
Credentials are permanent — they are designed to outlast Vayita. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated non-credential data at any time.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, export, correct, and delete your personal data. You have the right to control who verifies your credentials. You have the right to revoke verification access at any time.
